42nd CMA Awards

I just love this night of country music t.v. from TENNESSEE.
In fact, this year I get to record it on DVD. Yippee!!

Entertainer of the Year: KENNY CHESNEY
Guess country folks like that island sound!

Reba joined in with Brooks and Dunn singing "Cowgirls Don't Cry".
(I put the version available on Playlist, without Reba, on the "Teri Tunes" song list -
temporarily--- so 'turn it up')
What a tear jerker that one is! Reba always comes through.
I saw her perform in Ft. Myers and it was one of the best concerts I've been to.
She changed outfits nearly every song in about 10 seconds flat. That was back when Reba had the back-up singer that was almost as good as her. They sang a duet that was totally awesome. (the song - Does she love you,,,)

I missed a few people at the awards, like Dolly. Like a lot of them. Country is changing. It sounded at little bit rock and a little bit raggae at times.
It's still country when it's sang with a twang from the heart.
I'm so tickled I have some country music now to watch, again.
WE DON'T HAVE COUNTRY MUSIC HERE. I do really miss that part.

We saw Reba YEARS ago in concert, when Toby Keith was pretty much unknown. After leading for her, he became a big star in his own right.
I was a little disappointed with the sound quality last night, especially with the female singers, who seemed a bit off key and drowned out a lot by the instruments. You couldn't hear Reba singing w/Brooks & Dunn at all at first...but they managed to turn up her volume. I guess it's not as easy as it looks.

Great show, huh? I've got it on DVD so we can watch it again, and again, and again,,,,just kidding.
Reba did sound great when she ended the Cowgirls don't cry song. Her voice forces a tear to shed.
Wish I could have taped last year's CMA, it was better.

Loved it - country is my favorite. I missed Reba, maybe I went to bed too early, couldn't stay up past 9:30 last night! I was disappointed in the sound quality, too - it was so odd but I could not make out the words to any of the songs... but loved hearing what I did.

OK, this is an afterthought. But I wanted to give Kid Rock some credit. Can't stand most of the crapola he calls music. But I love it, all summer long, when he leans country...

Greetings miss Tica!
Around one year ago, I found your blog. Left some comments then, but after that I was cut off from the blogosphere.

I have a new hobby of stamp collection.
Also, I've always been interested in travel, history and the world's wildlife.

Is it possible for us to be postal pen friends, if it's not too much of a bother?

I am a 17 year old student in India.

Considering I have not sent one letter in the six years I have lived here, I'm not sure you want me as a penpal but I'll give it a try. I also collect stamps since 1972 but can't find them now - I put them in a "safe" place.
My address is Tica Macha, Apdo 325-4023, Jaco Costa Rica.
I never get mail in my p.o. box so it would be a real treat for me.
