Living and Working in CR

I have included another blog on my "Website Sharing" side column.
Angela has some insightful information on moving and living in Costa Rica.
Check it out: http://relocationcr.com
I just read her article about deportation for ten years for those that break the law by working. You cannot work here with a "residency" status. You can own a business and hire Costa Ricans to work it but YOU can't work. You can only collect profits from the business but not receive a salary.

The system is set-up here to protect the jobs for Costa Ricans and keep people from coming and living here that do not have money. If you want to live here, you need to know their laws.

If you'd like more information on deportation and residency, go to this site (http://attorneykearney.com).
