"YO-YO" in Paradise is my acronym for "You're On Your Own". This is not a site for tourist info on Costa Rica. It's just some Tales and Tattles of my experiences, observations, and the ups and downs of every day living by the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica.
Photo taken at Poseidon Restaurant where I ate grits today. Only restaurant I know in Costa Rica with grits.
Hoping you have a wonderful Christmastime.

Merry Christmas Sweety!
... from your Blog Bloke
Nothing like a good ole southern breakfast in Costa Rica on Christmas day. Little pleasures found in unlikely places.
Grits. I had been wanting grits for months this past year in Honduras. I came to New Orleans fo Christmas. Lo and behold! My roomie in NOLA fixed grits and grillades one of the first mornings that I had in NOLA. Now, it's time to head back to Honduras, gritless I guess.
Last time I went home, I packed grits and black-eyed peas to bring back with me. I sure could use some black-eyed peas for New Years!!
Thanks for stopping by. I like your blog in Honduras. Teri
Love those grits wherever you can get 'em'
Happy Holidays!
