TeriTunes
I'm not quite sure what to do about the songs I put here.
Recently, I see this message, "due to license restrictions for your country..." blah, blah, blah!
If you're in ANOTHER country, do they play?
I don't know.
I do know, a ton of songs are blocked now soooo... it may be gone soon.
Pura vida.
The Academy of Country Music Awards this Sunday evening on channel,,, I have no idea
but I'll find it.

Hello Teri.....
I enjoy reading you as well as listening to your tunes...most are new to me, here in Slovenia!
They start as soon as I open your page, and I leave them playing in the background if I am not doing anything terribly technical that requires my full concentration! Keep it up.
Silvana
Thanks Silvana, It's a little frustrating but I understand licensing and artist's rights. Here is what Playlist wrote me as the reason the songs were blocked:
The 'Due to licensing restrictions, some tracks are currently unavailable for playing in your country' message means that the content has been limited by the artist (or artist representative) to where it can be streamed; seeing this message indicates that your location is not one of the locations authorized by the artist/artist representative. This restriction is due to current licensing agreements; these agreements will remain in effect for the near future.
Would someone let me know if you can view all the songs or are they blocked on your end too?
I haven't noticed any missing songs. But I haven't been looking for missing songs either. I'd say keep them.
On "TeriTunes" radio, if you scroll down the list, it will say "unavailable" if they've blocked it. It's mostly the country songs that are blocked.
I can see/play all the songs.
Beth.
Songs 1 through 27 all there.
Then it's just me and my computer. I must have updated something because some of my sites, like RCI timeshare, is all in Spanish.
So, this is the deal I guess, you can hear the songs that I have added in the past but now, I can only add (download from a very short list) those artist without restrictions in "MY" country.
I bought this computer here so maybe that has something to do with how it's "hardwired".
Pura fricking vida.
Let me know if you find another song download site for blogs and I'll try it! Teri
The ONLY awards show I ever watch is the CMA's...it's a great show: 90 percent entertainment, 7 percent awards, and 3 percent Reba wardrobe changes. Did you catch the Dolly Parton interview on 60 minutes just before?
Not bad for 60-something.
And did you catch that Carrie Underwood dress? Reminded me of "Dune". If anyone out there gets that, I will be floored.
Beth.
Yep I saw Dolly on 60 Minutes choke up when they showed her a clip of her family performing. I love Dolly, I went to DollyWood TOO! She's REAL even with all the "tune-ups".
The awards show was great.
What's this about Carrie's dress? I just loved it when she spun around in it.
Reba was amazing as always and how does she look so great?!? No wiggle arms on that gal!
I am getting the music here in Honduras. Really nice. I will be in YOUR country tonight.
AWESOME, Where abouts? I hear they have rain around San Jose but it's been dry down here except for the big rain the other night. Gorgeous weather lately. -t
I have 28 songs in the list and they all play.
I am also fascinated with the count of visitors to Costa Rica, ie, there were 9 Slovenian tourists last week, today thre are 12. Any more information available on this?
I am returning to CR early July.
Enjoy!
Silvana in Slovenia
Silvana, thanks for letting me know about viewing the songs, that's great.
The counter for the countries is only for visiting YO-YO but it makes me wonder just who is coming to Costa Rica and where. Bet immigration knows.
Silvana, I changed the title on that visitor counter. :)
