THE VIEW and Video- 2009 ISA World Surfing Games

Master Photographer, Agustin Muñoz from Argentina (www.NitsugaPhotography.com), loaned me this shot he took on the last day of the contest. I was unable to get down to the Hermosa Mirador for this shot and he graciously let me borrow it for my blog to show everyone. It is a wild shot. Almost surreal when you have this image in mind and walk on the beach today,,,, it's vacant,,, not a soul in sight.
PURA VIDA and thank you so much Agustin for giving me the highlights of the events as it progressed during the week. Check out more of Agustin's photography at http://www.agustinmunoz.com.
Now, everyone have a big, big sigh... they're gone and we have our beach back!!

Check out this reeeeally cool video by Ezequiel Avaro and Agustin Muñoz for Surfos Magazine -

I finally caught up on like 8 posts of yours, I looked at them almost every day just to see fotos but had no time to read or say anything...

THANKS for capturing the contest, the changes in the town during the craziness, and all the adventures. Way to stay calm too during the rushing pace that Playa Hermosa is not known for...

Hope you are happy and well.

Thanks to you I don't feel like I totally missed out. I thought of you in the middle of all the craziness every time we drove to Jaco to go to the clinic early in the morning. You got some amazing shots.

I love all the Satriani music!

Enjoy the peace now.

I know many people that wouldn't fight the crowds or just couldn't make it for the event. I took photos with those in mind, plus, I still have tons of photos I hadn't downloaded so there's more to come!
Once I've had a chance to get turned around and download them.

Awesome, Teri! It makes me sad that I'm back in the States today! When I turned around & saw Agustin next to me in the security line at the airport today, though, I realized how tiny this world really is - and how a huge part of Costa Rica is within me even though I am far away for a few months. Take care, my dear friend!
