Look at the Birdie

On this particular day (Nov. 3, 2004 at 5:13 p.m.), this almond tree was lit up like a Costa Rica Christmas tree with all the Red Scarlet Macaws (Lapas) that came to dine on the nuts. What a sight that was.
Sometimes, I just put up a picture that flashes on my screen saver. I forget just how many photos I have.

AWESOME! Love the shots. We saw a similar tree on an overnighter at a friends house in Herradura. We counted 16. Our friend said she hadn't seen so many before or since. Nature granting us a sight like this is such a blessing.

Truly, "it's a gift".
Like when the sun comes out after a long rain...

These photo were taken right next door. Sometimes, they do land in my alamendra tree. I can see them close-up and personal from my upstairs window. Fascinating!!
