Show Some Blog Love....

I know people check my blog because I check my meter every now and then. I usually don't request comments but I need some encouragement from you out there. Just leave a note letting me know what you think and what you'd like to see here.

Yesterday was "the day after" the 9/11 tragedy six years ago and I spent a lot of time thinking about what has transpired in the last six years. My life has certainly changed since that time. After September 11, 2001, I decided if that could happen, anything could happen. I had only dreamed of living in Costa Rica but the events of 9/11 encouraged me to me make my dream a reality.

I'm sure I know who THIS is! Thanks. Yep, I'll be 52 but I still feel 25. I just don't "shake em down" like I used to. (from a Bob Seger song).

I'm sendging you blog hugs from California. I will be back home in CR next week. I look forward to finally meeting you in person someday soon... after I've had a chance to be with my sweet hubby awhile after having been away for 5 months.

I love the pictures that you post.

Sending love and hugs and B'day blessings! How cool your B'day is independence day. The whole country celebrates with you.

As for what I'd like to see in the blog...just more of what you're already doing...photos before and after, what's happening around your town. Nature, like the tucans. I look forward to the churches on Sundays. :) Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone for commenting. If you have a blog, you know what I'm talking about. Every now and then, you just need a little blog love to keep the thing going.
Your comments are appreciated.
By the way, no mas Macha! I changed my hair color and now it's darker.

Blog hugs for ya from Texas. We love reading all the CR blogs on a daily basis. We've got just a few short years before we can permanently settle in our place in Atenas. Your blog helps us stay in the "Pura Vida" frame of mind.

Thanks & Happy B'day too!

Hi,
9/11 changed my life as well. I had just been downsized from the corporate job of my dreams: great salary, free tuition, bonuses and parties. I was in a bad marriage; I was depressed. I took a job at a non-profit, went back to school for a bachelors in human services, I left the marriage and I can say when I die that I have made a difference. Hopefully a difference that honors those who died on 9/11. I have written a novel and a screenplay. I am currently writing two more books and plan to go back this winter for an MBA with the goal of combining my loves of business and social work to help affect global change.

Hi Teri,
I enjoy reading your blog very much. You are a brave soul, living in the wilds of CR, all by your lonesome. Not sure I could do it myself. Although I may not always agree with your philosophy, I admire your chutzpah and that you actually have opinions! Also really like Church on Sundays.

So keep it up and much happiness to you :)

Regards,
Marika

I just stumbled upon your blog at work and was impressed and amused at some of the things that you have written. It definitely made my day at work go by a whole lot faster.

Being from Southern California, I can appreciate a good traffic jam (ie taking 90 min to go 10 km). But whenever those "get used to it" moments do pop up, is there any way a photo could be taken just to put things into perspective...

Thanks for sharing and best wishes on your birthday!

I used to frown when I would see others fish for comments on their blog. I'm glad I finally did it too! I am surprised by the responses and it certainly refuels my enthusiam for continuing to do the blog thing. Thanks everyone.
