"YO-YO" in Paradise is my acronym for "You're On Your Own". This is not a site for tourist info on Costa Rica. It's just some Tales and Tattles of my experiences, observations, and the ups and downs of every day living by the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica.
Photo taken in Alajuela. There is usually a park in front of the church in most towns and a granasada guy is usually around.
Gra-na-sa-da is a shaved ice drink topped with fruit flavored syrup, powdered milk, and condensed milk. That is typical here.

Hi Teri! Do you go to these churches each Sunday for the services? Or just the pictures of the places.....BTW, your pics are great!
I like architecture and churches say something about the local culture. Their services are in Spanish and it's Catholic, so no, I don't go.
Southern Baptist, born and raised.
The church photos posted are for my Mom. She never missed church, ever.
Keep up the tradition! Good for you! Bob.
Thanks Bob for being such a loyal reader. My own family doesn't even read my blog. I started blogging as a way for them to touch base with me.
